JUST POSSIBLE
A space for those shaping what’s next in the apparel industry
Change starts with connected systems
The apparel industry is incredibly complex, and it’s usually built in silos. Designers create, compliance restricts, sustainability pushes impact, executives watch margin. With a heavy focus on product, the industry has slowly overcrowded the space
Frayed Not takes a close look at how the apparel industry actually works, questions traditional methods, and builds the tools and training needed to support change
We are here to ask better questions, test new ideas, and challenge outdated business models
Progress continues with people’s behaviours
For decades, the strategy has been product first. In an industry already drowning in apparel, that stopped working a while ago
The brands who win next won’t be the ones with the best product. They’ll be the ones who think in systems. Not because product doesn’t matter anymore. But because it stops being the main strategy
Alignment is where progress actually starts
The systems that make good decisions last
Built to perform, not only to look the part
I’m the founder and voice behind Frayed Not: an independent industry platform exploring how systems thinking, technical knowledge, and human behaviour actually overlap in the apparel industry. I write, research, and build practical tools so the people shaping what’s next have a space to amplify their mission.
I’ve spent more than 12 years working across design, compliance and sustainability roles in apparel: from corsets, workwear/corporatewear, PPE to motorcycle clothing. Luckily, this broad range of skills has allowed me to move between strategic direction and practical execution.
I kept seeing the same cycle repeat: ambitious ideas die in meeting rooms, clunky processes waste everyone’s time, and communication gaps end up louder than a vintage sewing machine. Forward thinking initiatives start as ground-breaking suggestions and end up as forgotten intentions. because the industry’s problems are caused by systems that were never designed to work together.
Frayed Not was born out of curiosity and frustration. It’s a space for people who care about real, scalable progress and are tired of feeling like the only ones calling out the nonsense.
Let’s close the gap
