JUST POSSIBLE
A space for those shaping what’s next in the apparel industry
Change starts with connected systems
The apparel industry is incredibly complex, and it’s usually built in silos. Designers create, compliance restricts, sustainability pushes impact, executives watch margin. With a heavy focus on product, the industry has slowly overcrowded its space
Frayed Not investigates how the apparel industry actually works, questions traditional methods, and builds the projects, education, and business models that replace them
We are here to ask questions, test new ideas, push boundaries and encourage critical thinking
Progress continues with people’s behaviours
For decades, the strategy has been product first. In an industry already drowning in apparel, that stopped working a while ago
The brands who win next won’t be the ones with the best product. They’ll be the ones who get the order right. Not because product stops mattering. Because it stops being the first move
Alignment is where progress actually starts
The systems that make good decisions last
Built to perform, not only to look the part
The founder and voice behind Frayed Not. This is an independent industry platform exploring how systems thinking, technical knowledge, and behaviour change connect across the apparel sector. I write, research, and build resources so that the people shaping what the industry does next have sharper tools, clearer frameworks, and fewer reasons to start from scratch
I’ve spent more than 12 years working across design, compliance and sustainability roles in apparel: from corsets, workwear/corporatewear, PPE to motorcycle clothing. Luckily, this broad range of skills has allowed me to easily move between strategic direction and practical execution
Between targets that never make it past the meeting notes, processes that overcomplicate rather than simplify, and miscommunications that are louder than an old sewing machine, the same pattern repeats (no pun intended)
Forward thinking initiatives start as ground-breaking suggestions and end up as forgotten intentions. The industry’s problems are caused by systems that were never designed to work together
Frayed Not was born from curiosity and rebellion. A studio that encourages systems thinking and behaviour change, for people who already know the industry needs commercial and scalable progress and are tired of being the only ones saying so
Let’s close the gap
Building an innovative apparel solution and need support to commercialise it?
Let’s collaborate and help you develop it properly
